Located in Wausau, Wisconsin, the Central Wisconsin - Marathon County Beekeepers Association is a community of beekeepers and any interested persons in honeybees or beekeeping. Members range from recent high school graduates to retired beekeepers with many variants in between. 

 Our organization has six objectives:
  1.  Education of Bee Culture,
  2. Agricultural synergies,
  3. Honeybee disease prevention,
  4. Honey marketing, 
  5. Community outreach, and 
  6. A social environment pertaining to beekeeping and the honeybee culture.

The organization provides a number of public opportunities and/or services:
  1. Visits to schools, clubs, or organizations
  2. Public meetings, workshops, and informational activities
  3. Displays a booth at the Wisconsin Valley Fair in the Ag. Adventure Tent
  4. Contacts for bee swarm removals.
